No chips and guacamole here, you get authentic Mexican with no frills. Tasty salsa and pic de gallo. Tacos are plentiful, quesa dia is tasty with all the fixins’. Burritos are filled to the brim! Not tex mex just real Mexican!

Although, if you’re vegetarian like us, prepare to be tempted. We are not sure if the refried beans are vegetarian or not and we’re not asking. Ditto for the tortillas. We usually just get cheese quesadillas and they’re so incredibly satisfying. They have daily specials and today (Saturday) is some kind of amazing looking soup that we definitely cannot eat. Highly recommend the house-made beverages, the pina and the horchata are both thumbs up.

They’ve also recently (ish) opened a grocery next door with a lot of delicious things (homemade flan I’m looking at you).

Great vegetarian tacos. They have a great variety of meats. I’d really like it if they added cactus tacos to the menu.

Fantastic! Expect authentic food, tacos were amazing stuffed with all variety of meats…. beef cheek, pork, tongue, steak , chicken… with the horchata and salsa bar. Bought some Mexican hot cocoa and flan at the adjoining market. Nice family atmosphere !!!!

I don’t give 5 stars Willy, nilly.
This is a hidden gem of absolutely authentic Mexican food.
The tacos, fajitas etc are made only when ordered. Short of living in a Mexican household, you will not get any better.
The Chicken Torta, chicken burritos and the steak burritos were “To die for.” I will most certainly be a returning customer.

Now… right next door is a Cuban Bakery and all I can say is… don’t walk…RUN to them. I’m still salivating and I’ve finished and entire bag of cookies, pastries etc. I will be a regular.

This is the sister restaurant to the Taqueria Munoz on Patton Ave in Asheville.  Brand new, just opened yesterday, but they’ve already worthy of a visit.
This is an order at the counter and wait for your number to be called kind of place. You’re not going to find any giant margaritas here. This is where you come for a couple of tacos, maybe a tamale, or some truly awesome sopes on a handmade tortilla, mole if you’re lucky enough to be there on the right day… Whatever you order, it’ll be authentic and made with love.
We went for dinner tonight. Had a few pastor tacos, carnitas and asada sopes, and a cheese quesadilla for the kiddo.  The food is amazing. They made the tortilla for the quesadilla and for the sopes from scratch when we ordered. It’s definitely no ordinary tortilla either, it’s an extra amazing and delicious one. The carnitas was tender and smoky and had crispy edges and it was fantastic. They have a salsa bar in back and both of the sauces were awesome. I liked the green, but my husband was eating the red one with a spoon before we left.
The service was awesome. Very friendly. They’re pretty quick, but keep in mind, tortillas to order take a second and it’s worth the wait. That said, we were  in and out in about 30 minutes, so still pretty speedy.
All in all, this place is the real deal. There isn’t anything like it in Hendersonville. It’s worth the trip.

Authentic Mexican tacos. Corn wrappers are made from scratch ~ and delicious. Not terribly fancy; but excellent food and flavors. Quick in and out. Great value.

Best tacos in Hendersonville. Authentic, cheap, tasty. They are always out of the sopa de mariscos when I try to go on the weekend. Hopefully next time I can get there a little earlier.
